Today is “wear yellow/orange day” Did you pack a healthy snack with those bright colors? Some healthy fruits and vegetables are bananas that contain potassium 422 mg. Yum, Uum Potassium!!! They can reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and high blood pressure. Getting enough potassium can ward off stress and anxiety. Pineapples contain vitamin C and an enzyme bromelain. Both play a major role in the body’s healing process. It’s known as nature’s healing fruit. Carrots contain Vitamin A which is essential for healthy eyes. The carotenoids are the substances that give their color. Oranges contain Vitamin C which reduces inflammation and is associated with reducing Asthma, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis conditions.
