Hello Families,

On October 31st, Allenstown Elementary School will have our Halloween parade starting at 1:00pm. The students will start at AES and walk down to ARD. Once the students walk the ARD track, they will watch a short performance from the ASD Dance Team in the middle of the track. Then they will return to AES. Due to the new fingerprinting requirements, we can only have visitors after the parade.

Important Information:

  • Please have your child bring their costumes to school and not wear them in. If you are bringing in a costume, please have it labeled with your child’s name.

  • All costumes should allow children to move around safely. Please: no masks, no weapons

  • If you plan on attending your child’s classroom party, please notify the classroom teacher ahead of time.

  • Morning preschool students are welcome to participate in the parade but parents will need to walk alongside them.

  • All visitors in the school must be signed in and wear a visitor name tag. We will have a sign in sheet and name tags available at the main entrance. All visitors are required to enter and exit the building using this door.

  • There are some classrooms that have allergies so please confirm what types of snacks you are able to share with the classroom teacher.

  • If you are dismissing your child before the 2:30 bell, they must be signed out. The buses come at 2:25 so please dismiss your child in a timely manner to help with dismissal congestion.

I appreciate your help in making this a safe, fun event for the whole community!

With Smiles,

Ginelle Czerula
